As someone who grew up in a hunting home and ended up marrying an avid hunter, I ask myself the same question every year for Father’s Day, birthdays and Christmas: What should I get that he doesn’t have already? When I request hints or suggestions, I always get the same response—hunting gear, of course. So in order to stay fresh and unique in my gift-giving, I compiled this little list of possible gifts for the sportsman or sportswoman who has “everything”.
Sportsman’s Box

Consider a monthly or quarterly gift box subscription through the Sportsman’s Box or Hunters Box Club. You can choose out of several options and customize the subscription to the recipient. Or, if gift boxes are not your thing, gift a subscription to their favorite hunting magazine.
Gift Card
Whether stuffed in a stocking, sent in an envelope, or simply left on a co-worker’s desk, gift cards are always practical and appreciated. Give them one for Cabela’s or Kuiu and you will be on their nice list forever.

Conservation Group Membership
The gift of membership is a thoughtful way to give while also supporting conservation efforts of groups such as the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation or SCI. Memberships to these two organizations also come with complimentary magazine subscriptions to Bugle and SAFARI Magazine, respectively.
Hunter's Gift Basket
Food and coffee never go out of style. A gift basket full of yummies like elk summer sausage, venison jerky, homemade "moose poop", and Black Rifle Coffee would make anyone's day.
Daddy and Me shirts
Matching what Dad wears always seems to be a goal with our little one (and it's just darn cute). Cabela's, Amazon and Kuiu have some different options. They would make a great Father's Day gift!
Gun Cylinder Pen Holder
This revolver cylinder pen holder is just really cool.
A Good Book

FISHING TACKLE
An engraved tackle box or custom flies would make any fisherman smile. A box of bait is not a bad idea either.
Holster
One holster doesn't fit all situations when it comes to packing a pistol. Whether the shooter you're shopping for carries at the range, in the field, or concealed, a new holster might just be one of those gifts that will get plenty of use.
Box of Ammo
Still undecided? If you’re familiar with at least one caliber that he or she shoots, you can’t go wrong with a box of ammo. Personally, I advocate going lead-free, and Barnes bullets have really delivered for me.
