Good Deeds

I appreciate and support the wonderful work of the following non-profit organizations. Please consider supporting them as well by donating, volunteering, or getting involved.

Safari Club International’s mission is to protect hunters’ rights and promote wildlife conservation through connection, education, representation, and advocacy.  Learn more or find a chapter near you.

Through Hunters Against Hunger, hunters can donate meat they legally harvested during the season and do their part to help feed the hungry. In Montana, HAH is a program of the Montana Food Bank Network. The collaboration makes donating a breeze and no fees are charged for the processing (although donations are always accepted). Hunters Against Hunger exists in several states. Check with your local food bank or Fish Wildlife & Parks for more information. Farmers and Hunters Feeding the Hungry have a similar mission and have local chapters across the country, as well.

Rocky Mountain Elk FoundationThe Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation was founded by Montana hunters in 1984 with a mission to “ensure the future of elk, other wildlife, their habitat and our hunting heritage”. They have enhanced and preserved over seven million acres of wildlife habitat and have implemented thousands of projects across the country in the name of stewardship, conservation, and elk restoration. There are more than five hundred RMEF chapters in the United States. Find out more about their efforts here.
