I’m so thankful for the wonderful time spent hunting with my husband today. We had a busy week, so the opportunity to unwind, unplug, and unscramble my mom brain via God’s glorious mountains was such a gift.
We trudged through snow, sneaked through timber, witnessed a young hunter harvest her first deer, and played hide-and-seek with a huge buck (he won).
Starting out on our snowy climb, I was engulfed by fog. Not only the physical, cloud-like kind due to water vapor condensation, but also the kind that results from lack of sleep and having too many things clouding the brain. Mental fog.
We hiked high enough to rise above it and were treated to this gorgeous view. My mind is now reset for another week and my body is the good kind of tired.
Hope you all get a chance to play outside this weekend too, and rise above the fog.
